Dr. Rohit Singla is a robotics educator and researcher focused on developing assistive and teleoperated systems that enhance human–robot interaction. His work combines control theory, sensing, and human-centered design to create technologies that improve accessibility. Before joining UW–Eau Claire, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad de O'Higgins in Chile, working on soft robotics, delay-robust control, and autonomous navigation. He holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from the University of Delhi, where he specialized in control for master–slave robot systems. At UW–Eau Claire, Dr. Singla enjoys guiding students in hands-on robotics projects with real-world impact. In his free time, he enjoys long runs, forest walks, camping, and exploring scenic trails.
