Harlie is the Interim Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Eau Claire and specializes in financial and marketing consulting. In addition, she manages the statewide Capital Access Clinic that provides no-cost one-on-one consulting for businesses owners needing financial projections to seek financing. 

On average the SBDC/Capital Access Clinic annually serves over 600 entrepreneurs, helping them collectively infuse over $30 million into their businesses through loans, owner investments, and grants. 

Harlie also owns a car wash business with three locations and a laundromat.
